This historic home situated on a wide sweeping lawn was such a pleasure to renovate. Our mission was to refresh the primary suite and reimagine the bedroom of the client's daughter in this Tudor residence, which already possessed strong architectural integrity. In collaboration with the architect, we refined the layout to better align with contemporary living standards, infusing the primary suite with a serene palette of cream, blush, and warm gray. This delicate color scheme wove a cohesive thread through the entry, bedroom, bathroom, and closet, uniting them in harmony while allowing each space its distinct character.
Their pre-teen daughter gave us a directive of Aspen meets Zen space. An organic fern wallpaper laid the foundation, complemented by an array of plush textiles, smooth contours, and warm wood accents to craft a serene sanctuary. Whimsical art pieces subtly nod to Aspen, adding playful touches. This project was a wonderful journey in marrying the home's historic charm with modern sensibilities and personalized touches for a truly unique living experience.
